Compared to other high-desert and drier potato-growing regions, the Valley has a natural underground water aquifer, recharged from runoff from snowfall in the nearby mountains.  Then, there is our central location that ensures fresh shipments nationwide.

Our internationally-renowned potato breeding program at Colorado State University constantly develops new cultivars: varieties that meet the needs of a changing marketplace.
