Calwhite is a high yielding, medium maturing variety with oblong tubers with shallow eyes and white skin and fleshed tubers. Plants are medium with white flowers. Specific gravity is medium high. Its usefull in the fresh and processing markets. It has resistance to early dying and hollow heart. It is susceptible to early blight, leafroll virus, PVY, net necrosis, common scab, storage soft rot and common scab. It is sensitive to metribuzin. It does well in hot climates. It sores well with a short dormancy.
