Purple Majesty is a medium to late season potato with smooth purple skin and deep purple flesh. It will make excellant purple chips. It has good resistant to most viruses and is moderately susceptible to blackleg and dry rot. It is high yielding with low fertilizer inputs. It is a private variety owned by Colorado State University.
