Shepody is a medium maturing, medium yielding variety with white skin and long tuber type. It is useful for early-harvest processing. Shepody has medium to low specific gravity and fries poor from 45 degree storage. It has a high percentage of large tubers and resistance to blackspot bruise. Its weaknesses are susceptibility to scab, PVY and dry rot and sensitivity to metribuzin.
