Commodore Rolls – Justin Walker
2011 Bronco Potato Tailgating Contest Winner!
- 1 Medium Potato
- Olive Oil
- Minced Garlic
- Salt & Pepper
- Bacon Strips Same number as potatoes
- Cheddar Cheese
- Flour Tortillas
1. Cut Potatoes into vertical strips (like French fries).
2. Pan fry until golden brown with olive oil and minced garlic. Season to taste.
3. In same pan, cooked strips of bacon, same number of potato strips.
While potatoes and bacon are cooking, cut similar strips out of cheddar cheese.
Take 1 Potato strip, 1 cheese strip and wrap with a strip of cooked bacon. Then, with 1/4 of a flour tortilla, wrap around cheese, potato and bacon wrap (like a mini- burrito).
Dip into your preferred sauce. I use Ranch, Honey Mustard, and Salsa as 3 dipping option.
