Potatoes at Adams State Basketball Game

Adams State Grizzlies Take On Colorado Mines Orediggers

On January 27, Colorado Potatoes sponsored the Adams State University Men’s and Women’s basketball teams as they took on the Colorado School of Mines.

The ASU women put up a great effort against the Colorado School of Mines women’s team and the ASU men were victorious, beating the Colorado School of Mines men, 60 to 54.

Worley Family Farms generously donated bags of Yukon Gold potatoes to give to every person that attended the game.  Athletes, college students, parents and more all took home potatoes, along with a dorm-friendly recipe to try. Our Parmesan Potatoes can be made in the microwave, and provide carbohydrates that are important for optimal mental and physical performance.

Jason Tillman, member of the Colorado Potato Administrative Committee, was recognized at halftime of the boys game for continuing to support Adams State University Athletics.

Thank you to all of the Colorado potato growers and their families who came out to help hand out bags of potatoes!  We are proud to support Adams State University Athletics and the students that are a part of their great programs!
